Operations Manager

Feel Good Foods is a growing food business focused on quality products and reliable delivery. We operate our own fleet of delivery trucks and are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily operations, improve efficiency, and keep our warehouse and logistics running smoothly.

You'll be supported by an experienced senior operations team including a Warehouse Manager and Logistics Coordinator, allowing you to focus on leadership, optimization, and driving performance across the business. You will be managing a team of approximately 16 employees.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position. You won't just manage from behind a desk - you'll be on the floor, in the warehouse, and working closely with drivers and staff to ensure everything runs efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including production coordination, warehousing, and deliveries

• Lead and support the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth workflows

• Manage and optimize delivery schedules and routes for company-owned trucks

• Ensure on-time, accurate, and safe deliveries to customers

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movement

• Oversee fleet operations including vehicle checks, servicing schedules, and compliance

• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and performance

• Train, supervise, and motivate operations staff

• Enforce safety, food handling, and workplace compliance standards

• Troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in operations, logistics, warehouse management, or food distribution

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Experience managing delivery teams or fleet operations preferred

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work flexible hours when required

• Valid driver's license (preferred)
