Join our dynamic Orthopedics & Spine Unit as a Clinical Nurse I, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families. Work shifts are overnight, ensuring that you have the flexibility to balance work and personal life.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will:

  • Implement physician orders and administer medications while performing necessary treatments, procedures, and tests according to established protocols.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and understand patients' conditions effectively.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
  • Utilize sound nursing judgment to make informed decisions regarding patient care management.
  • Provide both primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer medications accurately as per physician instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
  • Guide and mentor ancillary personnel, upholding the highest standards of professional nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques to drive departmental and patient care improvements.

Hourly Rate: $33.00 - $33.99
