POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Part-time Massage Therapist

Department: Massage

Reports to: Amy Blumenthal

FLSA Status: Non exempt

Date: 3/2023

Job Overview: The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is seeking part-time Massage Therapists. Must be NY State licensed and have knowledge of numerous modalities. We are looking for individuals interested in working in a community center environment with a wide range of clients. Must be a team player with a friendly personality and excellent communication skills. Please email resume to Attn: Amy Blumenthal

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performing, 25, 55, and 85 minute massage sessions ranging from Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal.
Creating individual treatment plans for clients
Cleaning the massage room between massage sessions and at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

New York State massage therapy license
Ability to generate new business and retain clients
In depth understanding of anatomy and movement
Computer savvy
Good communication and positive energy
Stand, sit, push, pull

Hourly Range: $38-$44
