Join our dedicated team in the Medical/Surgical Hospitalist unit, where we prioritize compassionate and competent patient care! As a Per Diem Clinical Nurse on the E3 team, you will play a vital role in assessing, coordinating, and managing the care of our patients throughout their hospital journey.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing physician orders and administering medications accurately and timely.
  • Starting IVs and performing treatments and special tests, while diligently documenting care as per policy and regulations.
  • Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to inform patient assessments.
  • Assessing patient needs and evaluating responses to treatments provided.
  • Providing both primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
  • Administering medications in accordance with orders and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Care Plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Guiding ancillary personnel and upholding the highest standards of professional nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings is essential.
  • Strong skills in communication, prioritization, organization, and time management.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and the ability to apply them in enhancing patient care.

Per Diem Rate: $43.50/hr (Rates may vary based on shift)
