Work Shift: Per Diem
Salary Range: $78,773.63 - $122,099.12
In this vital role, you will focus on enriching the knowledge and skills of current staff while effectively orienting new personnel. Your responsibilities will also include auditing practices and contributing to our leadership team, ensuring the highest standards in patient care.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Current New York State Registered Nurse registration or eligibility for licensure is required.
EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated clinical competence and extensive knowledge in the specialty area are required.

Ability to foster a collegial and collaborative environment among all healthcare team members. Proven leadership, teaching, research, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
Exhibits responsibility and accountability for decisions. Employs problem-solving and decision-making skills effectively. Capable of coaching and mentoring staff, as well as developing and communicating specialty-specific practice standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands outlined here are representative of what must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics encountered while performing essential functions include:
- Possibility of exposure to infectious materials and chemicals. Refer to unit-specific MSDS information for details.
- Moderate noise levels in the workplace.
- Majority of the role requires physical presence on-site as tasks cannot be performed remotely.
