St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester in Harrison, New York is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide per diem support to our hospital pharmacy. The responsibilities of the pharmacist include dispensing prescribed medications and other pharmaceutical products as needed for patient care according to professional standards and practices; monitoring medication profiles to ensure rational drug regimen.; providing consultative drug information services to staff, patients and customers as needed and assisting in performing and managing the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including both the inpatient and outpatient services.

Experience working in a hospital/outpatient/retail pharmacy is not required but preferred.
Experience in a behavioral health environment is also preferred.
Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy; New York State Pharmacy registration & license are required.

Job may require standing for significant periods of time, ability to ambulate, ability to bend and ability to lift medication cassettes (approximately twenty-five pounds).
