Pharmacy Tech Lead-FT

Oversees the work of a team of Pharmacy Technicians that are responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions. Develops work schedules and hires and trains new employees. Fills prescriptions and monitors stock as needed. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager head of a unit/department. High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program. 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
