Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct thorough clinical examinations and relevant diagnostic tests to understand each patient's unique condition, identifying impairments and functional limitations.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation: Create individualized treatment plans that reflect assessment findings and patient goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of intervention techniques.
- Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Techniques: Apply hands-on manual therapy techniques and prescribe therapeutic exercises to address musculoskeletal dysfunctions and enhance mobility.
- Pain Management and Modalities: Personalize treatment modalities to meet each patient's needs, adjusting approaches based on their ongoing responses to treatment.
- Functional Training and Rehabilitation: Assist patients in improving functional mobility and everyday activities through targeted training that translates skills to home and community settings.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current license/certification in the state of practice
