Post-Surgical PACU Registered Nurse - PRN

Join Our Team as a Post-Surgical PACU Registered Nurse!

As a PACU Nurse, you will play a vital role in patient recovery right after surgical procedures. This position is key to assessing patients' needs immediately post-operation and leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of their nursing care. We are looking for compassionate, skilled nurses who can provide exceptional technical nursing care to a diverse patient population, from infants to elderly adults, while maintaining an understanding of their unique developmental needs.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing and evaluating patients post-surgery to ensure optimal recovery.
• Taking a leadership role within the patient care team to develop and deliver nursing care plans.
• Fulfilling the mission of CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital by demonstrating our core values in every interaction.
• Participating in ongoing training and possibly cross-training in related areas such as DSU or PAT.

We Are Seeking Candidates Who Meet the Following Requirements:

• One year of recent Medical-Surgical or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Louisiana RN license.
• BLS Certification required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications are also required.
