Your main responsibility is to prepare food products according to our trusted Metro Diner recipes using various processes, equipment, and utensils. • A commitment to following our recipe book at all times, no matter your experience with the dish
• A willingness to adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
• A drive to keep refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage organized and clean, ensuring all items are properly sealed, labeled, and dated
• The ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area

• Experience as a Prep Cook in a fast-paced setting
• Initiative to address any prepping errors professionally
• Strong attention to detail for reporting equipment and food quality issues
• Knowledge of proper inventory rotation and FIFO systems
• Awareness to monitor inventory levels and notify the Kitchen Manager of shortages
