Production Assembler - Express Pros-Akron

Location: Akron, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Overtime available as needed)

About the Role

Express Pros-Akron is seeking a Production Assembler to join our Operations team. In this role, you will assemble components into sub-assemblies and final assemblies following established guidelines and quality standards. Your work directly contributes to delivering high-quality products our customers rely on.
Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Operations Director and Team Lead, you will:

• Assemble product components into sub-assemblies and final assemblies using established guidelines and quality standards
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Inspect parts and assemblies, providing feedback to management to prevent defects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support other departments as needed

• Self-motivation with minimal need for supervision

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires:

• Standing, walking, and using hands to handle or assemble parts
• Lifting/moving up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Clear vision at multiple distances, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration on occasion
• Moderate noise level typical of a production environment
