In This Role You Will Maintain housekeeping in various areas of the site - including, but not limited to production buildings. Assist with cleanup of chemical spills, removal and storage of hoses, equipment and tools, and proper storage and movement of empty waste drums. Load/unload waste drum trucks and offload chemical truck transport vehicles. Obtain, move and stage raw materials to support production. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintenance of site grounds and production areas Spray for vegetation control, trim landscape, paint, power wash, remove leaves, collect debris, perform snow/ice removal, and other duties as assigned. Maintain equipment such as weed eaters, leaf blowers, sprayers, trimmers, and hand tools. Qualifications And Background To Be Successful In This Role Able to work varying shifts as assigned, most commonly a 12 hour shift. May be assigned to a day shift or a night shift depending on group seniority. Will work overtime as required, including special assignments outside normal shift hours and coverage for vacancies on other shifts. Obtain and maintain qualifications to safely drive/operate a forklift. Understand and follow safety precautions for handling hazardous chemicals/materials. Follow directions and instructions accurately. Use small hand and power tools effectively. Work at heights involving ladders, lifts, or scaffolding. Demonstrate a positive work ethic and self starter capabilities with limited supervision. Use computer systems to accurately account for materials. Required Knowledge / Skill Requirements High school degree or equivalent. Obtain and maintain all qualifications for wearing respiratory protection. Basic computer skills required to accurately enter transactions in inventory management systems. Preferred Experience working in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. Other Qualifications Pass a background check. Pass a drug screen. May be required to pass an Occupational Health Screening. Curia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
