UniFirst is looking for dedicated and reliable Production Team Members to become part of our family. As a vital member of our Wash Aisle Department, you will play a key role in our plant floor operations. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers. Your Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial washing machines, including loading and unloading based on wash load formulation and proper sling weight.
- Load and unload dryers efficiently.
- Deliver processed garments and flat goods to designated finishing areas.
- Monitor detergent supplies and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Accurately report all production processes and maintain a clean work area.
- Complete necessary paperwork promptly.
- Adhere to safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with management.
- Basic math skills for measurements in weight, volume, and distance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
