Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a full-time, in-house Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled therapy team. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who is passionate about providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive long-term care environment. PRN opportunities are also available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT)
• Implement and modify physical therapy treatment plans with RPT guidance
• Measure and document residents' motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor resident responses to therapy and adjust interventions as needed
• Observe residents and complete progress reports
• Accurately document treatments, resident status changes, and other required information
• Communicate therapy needs and referrals to the Registered Physical Therapist

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing (required)
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused
