Job Title

Position Summary - Ensure that operators are Inspecting and checking that the parts running in production are acceptable according to customer specification and to the highest possible quality. Ensure production paperwork is completed and correct. Complete AQL Inspections and record the Data

Responsibilities/Daily Tasks
  • Collecting and recording inspection data. Review traveler documentation and provide QA signoff. Saving retains of each production run. Checking part counts in accordance with customers packaging specification. Ensuring operators are familiar with common in process production part quality defects. Production meetings. End of Shift Report summarizing what, if any, issues pertaining to machines and/or parts happened during the shift.
Responsibilities/Weekly Tasks
  • GGOB Department Meetings. Attending reviews and training with operators and quality technicians.
Other
  • Assisting in the completion of Validation Protocols and Reports. 2nd operation part inspection. Assisting 2nd operation department with various needs. Employee Quality Defects Training. Assisting Inspection department with various needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Read and understand part prints and specifications
  • Know how to use calipers, micrometers, gauge pins
  • Comfortable with MicroVu inspection system
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Able to compose professional emails and reports to inform necessary internal personnel
