Job Description

The Regional Controller is responsible for working with client financials, accounts payable/receivable, financial audits, and daily accounting operations. Serving as the primary liaison withAssocia'sclient shared service center the Controller / Senior Accountant also regularly interacts with internal and external clients and vendors and may support operations and sales teams with specific accounting expertise. This is a regional position where travel to different branches will be required from time-to-time.

Responsibilities:

Full Cycle Accounting
Identify, research, resolve and communicate accounting, auditing, and operational issues
Provide technical and financial advice and knowledge to others including property managers and board members
Maintains relationships with external auditors to complete audits of year-end financial statements
Work closely with clients, vendors, manager, accounting team members, and board members
Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Valid Driver License with reliable transportation and ability to travel to various branches in Florida.
Three (3) years general ledger accounting and financial reporting experience is required
Must have knowledge and proficiency of Finance, Accounting, Budgeting, and Cost Control Principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
HOA industry experience or financial/accounting department experience directly related to real estate or HOA management preferred
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with polished, professional, and friendly demeanor
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Must be very detail oriented, possess excellent follow through, and have the ability to multi-task.
