Registered Nurse I: Labor and Delivery/Antepartum - Night Shift

Join our dynamic team in the Labor and Delivery unit! We are currently seeking a full-time RN to work 36 hours per week on the night shift, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday rotations are required. You will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in both Labor and Delivery and Antepartum, making a difference in patients' lives.

Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments, ensuring all documentation meets company policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Administer prescribed medications as ordered.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to design comprehensive care plans for all patients.
• Guide ancillary personnel and uphold professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained and maintained.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and the ability to apply them for patient care improvement.
