Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Night Shift

As a Clinical Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department, you will play a crucial role in creating a compassionate and supportive environment for our patients and their families. Your dedication and kindness will contribute to the overall success of our mission.

Position Details:

• Work Schedule: 36 hours/week, Night shift, with commitments on weekends and holidays
• Salary Range: $68,640.00 - $70,699.20

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, perform IV starts, treatments, procedures, and document care as per policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and their response to care provided.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and maintain a comprehensive Plan of Care for patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Must hold a valid New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience as an RN in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques to enhance patient care.
