Salary Range: $60,367.47 - $90,551.20

Job Description Summary: Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient OBGYN Clinic. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and direction from the practice physician or advanced practice provider (APP), you will deliver exceptional patient care, conduct triage (both in-person and via phone), and assess, plan, direct, and evaluate personalized care plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately obtain and record patients' vital signs, reporting any abnormal results to the treating provider.
  • Document comprehensive patient histories (medical, surgical, and social) and conduct focused physical assessments as per clinic procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments under the direction of a physician or APP.
  • Assist in in-office procedures related to the clinic specialty and ensure documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Review and triage incoming test results, handle patient requests, and manage pharmacy renewals while facilitating necessary call-backs.
  • Optimize patient outcomes by leveraging resources and contributing to various quality metrics.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to LPNs and/or MAs as permitted by licensure.
  • Strictly adhere to regulatory agency standards and internal compliance policies.
  • Orient and educate newly hired staff members.
  • Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with clinic practices.
  • Provide patients with valuable education regarding their visit and overall health and wellness.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current New York State RN licensure.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred certification in a clinical specialty in an ambulatory setting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to present information clearly and respond effectively to inquiries from physicians, patients, and family members.
  • Familiarity with computer software, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Prior experience with electronic health records is a plus.
  • Proficient in medication administration and calculation of doses.
