Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- Self-Scheduled
- Shift: 3rd Shift (7pm-7:30am)
- FTE: 0.9 (12-hour shifts)
- 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
- 1 Weekend per 6-week schedule
- 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)
- RNs receive training in ACLS, NIHSS, IV Ultrasound, and cross-training to be Charge RN

Are you looking for a night shift role that offers variety, challenge, and personal growth? As part of our Internal Flex Pool, you will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Every shift presents new experiences and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.
What You'll Do:
- Float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic, collaborative environment
- Adapt quickly to different unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 18 months in Med/Surg or Telemetry (2 years preferred)
- Flexibility: Available to meet the following per 6-week schedule:
- 2 Fridays
- 2 Mondays
- 1 Weekend
Training & Skills:
- RNs receive training in:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale)
- IV Ultrasound
- Charge Nurse cross-training to support multiple units and develop leadership skills

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safety and therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. With a focus on evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication, you will help create a safe patient environment.
Your role will involve assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, coordinating discharge plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient-centered care. You will also engage in quality/process improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance both your skills and the care environment.
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Degrees:
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.
Required Functional Experience:
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
