Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- Self-Scheduled
- Shift: 3rd Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
- FTE: 0.9 (12-hour shifts)
- 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
- 1 Weekend per 6-week schedule
- 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)
- RNs are trained in ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and are cross-trained as Charge Nurses

Join our team to experience a night shift role filled with variety, challenge, and growth—all within one institution. In our Internal Float Pool, you will rotate across ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units, enhancing your skills with every shift.
What You'll Do:
- Float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Adapt quickly to different unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
- Flexibility: Ability to adhere to the 6-week schedule including 2 Fridays, 2 Mondays, and 1 Weekend
Training & Skills:
- RNs receive training in:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale)
- IV Ultrasound
- Charge Nurse cross-training to build leadership skills and support multiple units

Join our Internal Float Pool and make a difference every day.
You will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic environments according to established standards.
Through evidence-based practice, you will assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of care. Engage patients and families in care planning to develop lasting therapeutic relationships.
Proactively monitor patient conditions, adapting care plans as necessary, collaborating with healthcare team members to provide patient-centered care.
Implement strategies to enhance patient safety, assess readiness to learn, and tailor educational approaches accordingly. Actively coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach.
Diligently assess outcomes and participate in shared governance activities to improve processes and patient outcomes.
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Degrees:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
Required Functional Experience:
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrates progression to provide holistic patient care, effective communication skills, time management, and the ability to make independent, critical decisions.
Certification Addendum:
Team members will maintain annual educational standards for hospital-based certifications.
