Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Specialist

In this fulfilling role, you will work with pediatric patients, particularly those suffering from conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, alongside their families and a comprehensive medical team to deliver exceptional care tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate direct nursing care to children, particularly those with Cerebral Palsy and related conditions.
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as directed by physicians.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate patient health, documenting observations and any changes meticulously.
  • Provide education and support to families on care techniques, including feeding, mobility, and the utilization of medical devices.
  • Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and physicians, to create and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct routine medical procedures such as checking vital signs, managing feeding tubes, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Engage in continuous education to remain updated with best practices in pediatric and neurological nursing.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in the State of Georgia (required).
  • 1-2 years nursing experience, preferably in pediatric or neurological care.
  • A patient-centered and compassionate approach to nursing.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with both colleagues and families.
  • Current CPR and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or a readiness to obtain it.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with children with Cerebral Palsy or related neurological conditions.
  • Familiarity with pediatric medical equipment, including ventilators, feeding pumps, and mobility aids.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
