Position Summary:

Unison Health is seeking dynamic individuals to work in a behavioral health center as an RN for youth. This exciting opportunity will allow staff to work collaboratively to implement best practices. Staff will receive extensive and ongoing training as well as support from supervisors that are available 24-7. This position provides direct nursing services to clients in consultation with physicians and APRNs to provide the best possible services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
  • Provides direct nursing services to clients in accordance with established Agency and program policies, procedures, philosophy and clients' needs.
  • Assess data about each client's status and interprets the information needed to identify each individual's requirements in relations to his or her age-specific needs and provide care that is appropriate.
  • As an RN - administers injections, prepares drug samples, gives medications, administers vaccines, calls meds to pharmacies, and provides other nursing services to clients as necessary.
  • Thoroughly and accurately documents all aspects of patient care provided.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Current RN license from the State of Ohio.
  • Associate degree in nursing required. Must obtain BLS, First Aid and CPI following hire.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness and the ability to establish therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
  • Must be able to work weekend and holiday rotation.
