Our client is a Global Debt & Treasury advisory firm that works primarily with treasury teams of large Fortune 500/1000 corporations. They have offices in Paris, Houston, New York, Geneva, and London with over 100 professionals globally. They work to optimize the financial performance of their clients as well as make their processes more efficient through persistent analysis, market comparison, structuring, negotiation, and intermediation of banking and payment relationships.
Our client is seeking an ambitious and energetic Global Relationship Manager (GRM) to expand its U.S. client base and drive sustainable revenue growth within the mid-market segment. Our client defines the mid-market segment as companies having annual revenues of 500m to 2bn (a precise Ideal Client Profile will have to be defined). They are looking for true "game changers" with strong sales and advisory capabilities who are passionate about doing what is right for our customers, our associates, and our industry.
Candidate must be local to Houston, TX, or willing to relocate, and willing to work from the client office daily early in tenure. After ramping up, individuals may begin working in a hybrid capacity.

Who you are:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's preferred.
Roughly seven (7) years of experience, of which five (5) years selling debt advisory services/commercial banking solutions to CFOs, Treasurers, and staff of mid-market corporations.
Demonstrated success in initiating new business relationships with mid-market corporations
Previous experience working in a Commercial / Corporate Bank, Financial Advisory firm, or Rating Agency
Working knowledge in Credit and Financing
Ability to think on your feet and pivot quickly when speaking with prospects over the phone
Excellent listener and you can communicate extremely clearly & concisely both verbally and in written form
A growth mindset- you crave coaching and feedback and are able to implement it as necessary
Unrelenting intrinsic motivation- goal setting motivates you but not as much as your own drive to succeed and be your best
Ability to give and take constructive criticism
FINRA Registered in Series 7 or 79 and Series 63
Microsoft Office capabilities: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Experience with a CRM such as SalesForce. Capital IQ and Bloomberg experience preferred.
What you'll do:
Refine the ideal client profile (ICP) and define a clear DA client target list in coordination with the rest of the DA & sales team
Establish productive, professional relationships with strategic key treasury and finance leaders in a portfolio of prospective clients identified as targets by Redbridge across the mid-market segment within the US
Identify and originate opportunities primarily focused on Debt Advisory: Debt Structure Advisory, Ratings Advisory, Syndicated Loans, Private Placements, Working Capital, Securitization, and other financing opportunities.
The GRM will also help cross-sell other of our client's services such as Cash management optimization, payment card optimization, treasury operations, and organization (TMS selection, Cash Pooling, Cash Forecasting, Treasury Diagnostics, etc.)
Create solutions for clients by having a complete understanding of the customer's organization, finance strategy, workflow, needs, and goals as well as a comprehensive understanding of the client's advisory capabilities and product offerings
Ensure that our client develops multiple touchpoints and strong relationships across the company and client organization
Manage a robust sales pipeline and an accurate forecast to meet targets for profitable sales growth
Lead deals from identifying and qualifying leads to closing and everything in between
Work with delivery teams and management to allocate appropriate resources at each step of the sales process to ensure closing
Coordinate and collaborate with other GRMs and product experts to share ideas, co-market to clients, and enhance overall opportunities for the company
Build the client's Debt & Treasury Advisory franchise through thought leadership activities (attend/speak at treasury and finance conferences, actively participate in AFP, conduct webcasts/webinars, write articles, participate in Market Intelligence Group Research, etc.)
Prepare marketing materials and proposals for existing and prospective clients
Work closely with the execution teams, management, and operations to ensure all stakeholders are briefed, understand client objectives, and are working to deliver a successful engagement
Proactively address client demands, questions, or concerns and ensure achievement of any deadlines communicated to clients
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of client communications, proposals, and pipelines in the company's Salesforce CRM database
Continuously improve product knowledge in relevant areas
Provide input to improve and adapt products, services, processes, methodologies, and organization to the local market
Always put client interests first and report any possible conflicts of interest
Adhere to our client's methods and processes as well as all legal and regulatory guidelines, including client confidentiality
