Position Summary
Join Olsson's Roadway team and play a vital role in diverse transportation and infrastructure projects that contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable communities. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and technical staff dedicated to quality and teamwork.
In this position, you will support roadway planning and design through CAD drafting and design, assist with research and technical documentation, and engage in field visits and site observations as needed. Your assignments may vary from routine drafting tasks to more complex design support, with opportunities to grow into increased responsibilities.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to develop and refine roadway layouts, construction documents, and related deliverables. While under appropriate supervision, you will apply established methods and software to help deliver safe and reliable roadway infrastructure. This role offers continual learning, skill development, and professional growth within a collaborative environment.
What You Bring
- Passion for collaboration and ownership of your projects
- A desire to use your skills to make a positive impact on communities
- Associate degree in a related field or relevant experience preferred
- Open to candidates of all experience levels, from entry-level to seasoned CAD technicians
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred, but training will be provided based on experience level
