We are seeking a dynamic Sales Partnerships Manager to join our Growth Team! This role is pivotal in cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with health systems, medical groups, and software companies.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and pursue potential partners through outreach, research, and networking events.
- Relationship Management: Foster relationships with key stakeholders in relevant organizations; serve as the main point of contact for partners.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations while monitoring partnership performance.
- Partnership Implementation: Supervise partnership initiatives by coordinating with internal and external teams to align timelines and goals.
- Partner Success: Develop KPIs to measure partnership impact and use insights to refine partnership strategies.
What We Seek
- 4-7 years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development, preferably in health IT or enterprise SaaS.
- Existing connections with EHR vendors, health IT consultancies, or GPOs are highly advantageous.
- Proven success in building partner programs and achieving partner-sourced revenue goals.
- Strong negotiation skills with a background in structuring agreement types such as referral and reseller contracts.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across clinical, IT, and executive domains.
- A self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and can develop structure from the ground up.
Travel Expectation
- Approximately 30% travel is expected. This includes attending conferences, coordinating onsite visits, and participating in all-hands retreats as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in partnership identification, implementation, and business development.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with experience developing and implementing partnership strategies.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance tracking.
- Strong understanding of healthcare markets is beneficial.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
Nice to Have
- Experience in value-based care or population health.
- Background in a seed-Series B startup environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
- MBA or clinical degree, such as MPH or MHA.
