RN Job Opening - School Nurse
Location: Beloit, WI
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Through end of the school year
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to support student health and safety in a school setting. The School Nurse will promote student well-being, provide direct care, manage health plans, and collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive student health records and histories

Provide direct care for emergent, episodic, and chronic health needs, including medication administration and nursing procedures

Train and delegate nursing tasks to unlicensed school personnel

Develop and update Individual Health Plans and Emergency Health Plans

Coordinate student healthcare needs during school-sponsored events

Support immunization compliance and reporting

Conduct vision and hearing screenings and manage follow-up

Participate in emergency response planning and staff training
Required Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license
-
BSN required, or ADN with DPI-approved community course and willingness to obtain BSN within five years

Current CPR/AED certification
