Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary
Manages day to day activities in the organization's accounts payable function.
Job Duties
• Manage a team of accounts payables clerks that code expenses, verify and process invoices and issue payments
• Ensures that invoices or other financial obligations are processed and paid in a timely manner
• Maintain payment records and ensure that transactions are posted to the company ledger
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education
• Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles
• Perform complex tasks typically following established processes
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 4 to 6 years of experience

• Keystrokes 10K per hour
• Excel (simple formulas)
o Pivot tables a plus
