POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Clinician who will report to the Adult Ambulatory Coordinator and/or the Medical Director. The clinician will provide direct and indirect clinical services to adults in need of mental health care, focusing on effective treatment and age-appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting crisis assessments, intake assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Participating in treatment planning, case management, and team/community collaboration.
  • Providing patient and family education along with triage and discharge planning.
  • Creating a compassionate environment in adherence to our core values: Teamwork, Communication, Respect, and Caring.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Master's degree and Connecticut licensure as one of the following: LCSW, LADC, LPC, or LMFT. Candidates should have strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and be flexible to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Experience:

Previous experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), familiarity with abuse reporting, community resources, and billing processes is preferred.
