Senior Commercialization Strategy Director

As a Senior Commercialization Strategy Director, you will lead the implementation and enhancement of our commercialization process, focusing on pricing, positioning, packaging, monetization, and profitability of innovative products and services. This role spans our various business models, including Audit, Advise, Transform, and Operate.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and accountability in the commercialization factory, connecting product, monetization, pricing, and commercial models across multiple business lines.
  • Create clarity from ambiguity, utilizing available data to identify and monetize client value that fosters profitable growth, improving revenue and margins.
  • Develop and align value metrics, usage metrics, and pricing metrics to ensure they are definable, measurable, and reflect high client demand and willingness to pay.
  • Break down complex services into modular components, mapping out the solution value chain to enable optimized monetization models.
  • Define and refine pricing structures for assigned products/services to enhance price realization and reduce margin leakage.
  • Build strong relationships and influence decision-making among internal and external stakeholders to unlock client value and improve overall revenues.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong expertise in cost, competitor, and client value-driven pricing strategies within EY's market pricing frameworks.
  • Proven experience in structuring and implementing innovative pricing for professional services.
  • Deep knowledge of behavioral science principles that influence pricing decisions.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and build trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
  • Effective collaboration skills within a matrix organization to deliver high-quality results.

To Qualify for the Role You Must Have

  • 12+ years of experience in professional services pricing/commercials or related fields.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, monetization strategies, and pricing techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is required.

Ideally, You'll Also Have

  • MBA or master's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Flexibility to accommodate client needs and varying work hours.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
