Senior Cost Accountant

Raven Ridge is hiring a Senior Cost Accountant in Nashua, NH. This is an in-office position offering a $110,000-$120,000 base salary. Duties include Inventory valuation, margin analysis, Bill of Material analysis, cost rollups, and related variance analyses. 3+ years of experience in a ERP manufacturing environment is required.

Scope of Position
Owns Cost Accounting and related reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares, analyzes and reviews monthly job gross margin reports and oversees the gathering of data by other functions for collation by Finance Department members
Maintains accurate cost standards and job costing within the manufacturing operation
Performs analysis and forecasts of project profitability on individual standard product and custom fabrication lines
Responsible for month end financial data transmission as required by corporate office and local division
Reviews monthly gross margin reports to identify all anomalous results, investigates causes and advises profit center manages on solutions
Assists in the preparations of annual operating budgets and business planning, particularly focused on volume and margin expectations
Responsible for annual physical inventory supervision and costing of same. Devises, implements and maintains cycle counting and other methodologies to minimize need for annual physical inventory
Analyzes monthly financial statements at the gross margin and gross profit level for completeness and accuracy and reports deviations from the budget
Acts as cost accounting liaison between corporate office and local division
Responsible for all corporate cost accounting reporting and accounting requirements
Monitors book inventory against perpetual records for all inventories. Reviews quarterly reconciliations of book inventory values with underlying records
Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested
