Senior Delivery Driver

This exciting position involves delivering a wide range of products, including hazardous materials, to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. As a Senior Delivery Driver, you will ensure that deliveries are complete, properly packed, and safely delivered to the right customers, while being accountable for their satisfaction.

You will interact with customers, often handling cash and other payment methods, as well as access to electronic equipment and valuable items. To protect the safety of our customers and staff, a review of criminal history will be conducted.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and load customer orders efficiently onto the truck.
• Ensure safe transportation and timely delivery of items to customers.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and report servicing needs to supervisors.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules while complying with transportation laws.
• Complete necessary documentation related to deliveries.
• Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Assist with various tasks in the store, including warehouse duties and customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement is essential.
• A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience as a delivery driver.
• 1+ year experience with material handling equipment.
• Previous experience in selling paint or related products.
• Fluency in multiple languages, including Spanish, is a plus.
