Your Role as Senior Preconstruction and Estimating Manager
As the Senior Preconstruction and Estimating Manager, you will lead our collaborative efforts in the preconstruction process while ensuring alignment with JE Dunn's strategic vision and values.
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the preconstruction team, ensuring the successful execution of competitive bids, cost analysis, and comprehensive project budgets.
- Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key clients and design teams throughout the preconstruction phase.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute project win strategies, preparing for interviews and guiding presentations to support business development.
- Estimating Expertise: Conduct estimating tasks as needed, including creating conceptual budgets and preparing quantity surveys.
What You Will Bring:
- 10+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Your leadership will shape a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with construction estimating software.
- A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required, along with a valid driver’s license.
Working Environment:
- This role may involve travel and working non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
- Normal office environment with occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.
