Your Role: As a Senior Financial Analyst focusing on Customer Retention, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our business strategy by providing insights that drive customer satisfaction and long-term success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-End Forecasting: Take ownership of the renewal forecasting process. Develop, validate, and maintain models to accurately predict churn, renewal rates, and retention outcomes, providing actionable analysis that informs financial planning.

  • Retention Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze retention metrics across our SaaS product lines. Deliver timely insights and updates to Retention Analytics and Customer Retention Leaders while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Manage weekly updates and monthly/quarterly reviews.

  • Proactive Insights: Conduct thorough variance analysis to uncover the reasons behind retention performance relative to targets. Anticipate key questions and proactively offer strategic recommendations.

  • Data Reporting & Integrity: Regularly reconcile retention data and manage necessary adjustments to ensure reporting accuracy. Work with large data sets to derive meaningful insights and enhance analytics processes.

Qualifications: An ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus. 5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar roles, preferably within SaaS or subscription models.

  • Expertise in financial modeling and data manipulation.

  • A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with a curiosity for continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of turning abstract concepts and fragmented data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences across teams.

Salary Information: The annual base salary range for this role is $98,000 - $130,000, determined by location, experience, and pay equity within the organization. Additional variable pay and benefits will be included.
