Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write, edit and design content for internal communications including email newsletters, executive communications and employee-facing materials
• Ensure content adheres to brand standards
• Work closely with subject matter experts and consult colleagues on the best way to communicate information
• Identify areas of opportunity and work with management to develop new initiatives to improve communications programs
• Manage communications calendar and corporate communications software program
• Use analytics to drive improvements and increase engagement for internal communications
• Meet deadlines or work with management to adjust schedule in a timely manner
• Assist in other areas in the marketing department as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years of communications experience
• Meticulous copyeditor
• Strong verbal communications skills
• Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
• Basic graphic design skills
• High level of attention to detail and adaptability
• Experience in a multiple deadline driven environment and ability to provide quick turnaround on communications requests
• Experience with Poppulo, Workplace or another internal communications tool a plus
