  • Ensure compliance with GE Aerospace's Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) priorities.
  • Coordinate across diverse teams—engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, and quality—to meet program milestones.
  • Monitor performance metrics and address any deviations with effective corrective actions.
  • Provide regular status updates, highlighting risks and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within your team.
  • Manage customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for program matters.
  • Identify and mitigate potential program risks, crafting contingency plans as needed.
  • Promote lean principles and practices throughout the program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Technical Degrees preferred).
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in program, project, product, or engineering management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to internal and customer sites.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status.
  • Domestic travel expectations range from 10%-25%.

Desired Skills:

  • Extensive experience in aerospace or defense program management.
  • Knowledge of avionics systems integration, software development, and hardware.
  • Strong domain expertise in life cycle development for high design assurance programs.
  • Proven success in managing complex programs from start to finish.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of lean principles is highly desirable.

Competitive Benefits Include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting on your first day.
  • Permissive time off policy for new hires.
  • Generous 401(k) plan.
  • Tuition reimbursement opportunities.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage.
  • And much more!

The base salary for this position is between $146,000.00 and $175,000.00, with specific offers influenced by experience, education, and skill sets. This position also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. We are based in Clearwater, FL or Grand Rapids, MI, and this role allows for a hybrid working arrangement, necessitating a presence in the office 3-4 days a week.
