The Employee & Workplace Experience (EWX) team is dedicated to creating the environments and programs that foster connection, collaboration, and community among Coinbase employees. As a member of EWX operations, you will play a key role in constructing the frameworks and systems necessary for optimal execution across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Rhythm of the Business—Manage planning cycles, weekly prioritization, project readiness, and retrospectives for EWX. Transform leadership vision into actionable plans, milestones, and accountability.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and resource challenges at an early stage.
- Assist in Go-to-Market for EWX Programs—Support the organization and execution of surges, workshops, event grants, and office initiatives. Coordinate with stakeholders in Workplace, Real Estate, Internal Communications, Finance, and additional partners. Establish simple intake and prioritization systems to minimize ad hoc tasks.
- Manage Budgets—Monitor budgets for EWX initiatives ensuring clear visibility between projected and actual spending. Promptly flag trade-offs and risks to assist leadership in making informed decisions.
- Work closely with Finance on budget planning and forecasting.
- Support Real Estate and Program Planning—Aid in managing real estate planning, including capacity assessments, utilization metrics, and timelines. Document and clearly communicate all assumptions and decisions made by various stakeholders.
- Develop Process, Systems, and Tools—Create and maintain efficient processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks. Reduce repetitive tasks and clarify ambiguities. Ensure tools such as Asana, Jira, Notion, and spreadsheets effectively support clarity and scalability.
- Identify Data, Reporting, and Storytelling Metrics—Define success metrics for EWX programs. Build dashboards and reporting tools to track progress, budget, and overall impact. Develop succinct written updates for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Five to seven years of experience in operations, program management, business operations, or a relevant field.
- Ability to think systematically, offering structured solutions to recurring issues.
- Proficient in budget management and financial decision-making.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and translating directives into actionable plans.
- Strong communicator, particularly when it comes to written communication.
- Data-driven mindset, adept at utilizing metrics and creating dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively without needing formal authority.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a remote-first or globally distributed work environment.
- Familiarity with the Google Workspace suite.
- Certifications or advanced knowledge of project management tools like Asana or Jira.
Compensation details: Depending on your location, the target annual base salary for this role ranges from $130,900 to $154,000 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
