The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager focused on Risk Management and Contract Services, you will lead initiatives in enterprise risk management with a focus on business continuity, risk model implementation, and regulatory compliance. You'll play an essential role in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that operations and core functions remain robust against unforeseen disruptions. Your strategic advising expertise will guide project success and operational excellence, while you build high-performing teams and navigate complex challenges with informed decision-making.

In your capacity as a contract specialist, you will negotiate risk-related, legal, and commercial terms in service contracts with PwC's clients, focusing on sell-side contracts. You will work closely with R&I risk management and PwC business teams to evaluate contract-related performance risks, educate stakeholders on contract provisions, negotiate terms, and develop internal controls that reinforce contract compliance. Collaboration across diverse teams will be essential in implementing risk management frameworks and enhancing business processes, ultimately driving PwC's success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract reviews and engagement planning by applying risk management frameworks and governance considerations to strengthen delivery and compliance.

  • Lead negotiations for sell-side service contracts, redlining and negotiating terms with clients' procurement, legal teams, and outside counsel.

  • Collaborate with R&I risk management and business teams to identify and manage contract, operational, and performance risks in managed services engagements.

  • Translate contract provisions into clear guidance for stakeholders and clients, enabling effective execution and proactive issue prevention.

  • Establish and improve internal controls and compliance processes to promote consistent delivery and adherence to negotiated terms.

  • Direct contract risk alignment and governance across engagements, applying sound judgment and documenting decisions to maintain clear audit trails throughout the contract lifecycle.

What You Must Have

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma.

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience.

What Sets You Apart

  • Preferred Juris Doctorate degree.

  • Experience leading negotiations of complex commercial contracts.

  • Proficiency in reviewing and redlining detailed contract terms.

  • Understanding of managed services offerings and relevant contract terms, performance metrics, and experience across various domains including finance, technology, cyber, and risk & regulatory services.

  • Entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset, with autonomy in managing contract negotiations.

  • Able to explain contract terms collaboratively to internal stakeholders and external parties.

  • Committed to process improvement and enhancing the overall contracting experience.

The salary range for this position is: $91,000 - $321,500. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, in accordance with applicable laws. All hires are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. PwC offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, and personal leave.
