Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Leader/Practice Builder with a strong background in planning and landscape architecture to lead and expand our Planning and Landscape practice in our Culver City, California office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to drive business growth while maintaining a high level of design quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the Planning and Landscape practice, setting strategic goals, and driving the team to achieve excellence in design, innovation, and client satisfaction.
2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and expand the practice's presence in the Culver City and Southern California markets.
3. Project Excellence: Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they align with the firm's design standards, client expectations, and project goals.
4. Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a talented team of planners and landscape architects, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
5. Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, contributing innovative ideas to enhance the firm's reputation as a market leader.
6. Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional design solutions that exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in planning and landscape architecture.
3. Proven track record of successful project delivery, client engagement, and business development.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
6. Deep knowledge of the Culver City and Southern California market.
7. Licensure in Landscape Architecture (preferred).
