About the Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Vice President, Regulatory Compliance Leader to join our team. In this critical role, you will provide hands-on leadership, strategic direction, and expertise in regulatory compliance. Your focus will be on assessing and advising on current and upcoming regulatory requirements.
This position is essential in ensuring our organization maintains a robust and effective regulatory compliance program. You will take direct charge of overseeing our compliance with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and updating compliance policies, standards, and procedures
- Managing the annual compliance work plan
- Ensuring the company meets all regulatory reporting obligations
- Proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory risks
Applicants should possess a strong background in a senior compliance role within a banking environment and experience in managing a significant financial services compliance function. A Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification is required, with preference given to those with expertise in commercial banking, credit cards, and residential mortgages.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert knowledge of regulatory compliance regulations, such as fair lending, UDAAP, HMDA, and the Community Reinvestment Act. Exceptional leadership, relationship management, and communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, from executive teams to regulatory bodies.
This role also involves leading a dedicated team and serving as the company’s compliance subject matter expert.
