Job Overview

The Small Business Banking Executive reports to the Branch & Micro Business Regional Executive, leading sales initiatives for the micro business segment. You'll be instrumental in driving growth for businesses with revenues ranging from $500,000 to $2.5MM, providing direction to a team of Small Business Specialist Sales Managers. Your strategic leadership is essential in executing the 'One Bank' strategy and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement sales strategies to boost revenue and achieve financial targets, fostering a robust pipeline of prospects and clients.

  • Maintain critical customer relationships and develop strategies to widen the micro business banking client base while enhancing client engagement.

  • Showcase strong financial expertise, including knowledge of small business banking products and services.

  • Lead and motivate your team to reach optimal performance through effective coaching, ensuring accountability to business objectives.

  • Inspire and enable leaders to achieve high execution standards, consistently driving problem-solving and sound decision-making.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to eliminate obstacles and achieve success together.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working with small businesses to provide tailored financial solutions.

  • 8+ years in banking or financial services.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience effectively managing and coaching sales teams.

  • Bachelor's or MBA in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Develop and implement sales strategies that align with client segments, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Prioritize and ensure execution of plans aimed at deepening client relationships and enhancing market share.

The salary range for this role is $164,390.00 - $193,400.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package. U.S. Bank considers qualified applicants with criminal records and conducts background checks in compliance with applicable laws.
