Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Social Media Strategist to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. The strategist will be working under the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for developing & executing social media growth strategies, managing and growing our online community across various social media platforms. Their primary focus will be to grow & engage with our audience, foster meaningful interactions, and enhance our brand presence. The role of the Social Media Strategist will require a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms and their dynamics.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies to drive community growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
Create and curate compelling content for social media platforms that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
Develop online community outreach efforts to foster cross promotions and follower growth
Monitor and actively engage with community members, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with content creators & influencers, brand advocates, and industry thought leaders to develop engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.
Foster positive and constructive conversations within the community, encouraging user-generated content and discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify trends, and develop strategies for improving community engagement and customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously optimize community management efforts.
Track and measure the performance of social media campaigns against established KPIs.
Use analytics tools to generate regular reports on social media metrics, trends, and audience insights.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to continuously improve strategies.
Identify and leverage user-generated content and brand advocates to amplify our reach and enhance community involvement.
Proactively address and manage any issues or conflicts within the community, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all members.
Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities for community growth and engagement.
Monitor brand mentions, industry conversations, and relevant trends across social media platforms. Experiment with new features and strategies to keep the brand's social media presence fresh and innovative.
Gather insights from social listening to identify opportunities, assess sentiment, and adjust strategies as needed.
Support the marketing department with ad hoc tasks if needed
Execute Day-To-Day Social Media Initiatives:
Posting diversified content to improve user engagement and drive actions across all major channels
Create and maintain social media strategy plan (organic and paid) for short term initiatives
Manage social media plan for our clubs and work with local managers to assist with organic engagement
Monitor & report benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media campaigns and advertising
Stay apprised of emerging social media technologies, trends and industry news
Support local Public Relations and event partnerships with social media strategies

Education and Experience Requirements
A Bachelor's degree marketing/advertising or related degree is required.
At least three (3) years' experience in consumer marketing, advertising, or media field.
Deep understanding of the Facebook platform; full knowledge of all bidding, targeting & optimization capabilities; up-to-date with best practices and iOS15+ implications.
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work at the strategic level and at the tactical level with ability to problem solve.
Expert in running campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media platforms
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required, specifically Microsoft Excel.
Willingness to travel as needed to clubs to support openings.
Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus.
