What You Can Expect
Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet company specialized in orthopedic medical devices for the foot and ankle, is seeking a Soft Tissue & Biologics Market Manager. The key responsibilities of this role will involve providing education, training, technical, and clinical support, as well as sales targeting related to Paragon 28's Soft Tissue & Biologics products throughout the entire surgical process.
How You'll Create Impact
- Collaborate actively with Sales Agents, Area VP of Sales, VP of Sales, EVP of Marketing and Medical Education, and Directors of Soft Tissue and Biologics to develop and execute training content tailored to these products.
- Communicate and work closely with the Directors of Soft Tissue & Biologics to keep sales agents and surgeons informed throughout the education and sales processes.
- Coordinate with Surgeons and Sales Agents on instrument and implant availability and ensure adequate support for surgical cases.
- Strategically work with sales management and local personnel to identify and convert qualified surgeon prospects.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Paragon 28 product portfolio to help surgeons overcome operative challenges.
- Provide technical support during Soft Tissue & Biologics procedures, including necessary attendance at surgical cases and conducting in-services for sales agents and operating room staff prior to procedures.
- Organize training events and dinners, attending as needed to build surgeon proficiency for initial surgeries.
- Offer assistance in training and supporting sales and marketing personnel on all aspects of the Soft Tissue & Biologics technology and market.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in the foot & ankle market, preferably with a background in Foot & Ankle Soft Tissue Surgery.
- Experience in Sales and Marketing is required.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- A strong, positive mindset and the ability to overcome challenges; lead by example.
- A knack for identifying opportunities that create value for all parties involved.
- Demonstrated initiative, drive, and emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven clinical and technical aptitude.
- A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
- Experience in building robust partnerships across teams including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, R&D, and Operations to achieve business objectives.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced growth environment, managing a variety of tasks within the marketing sphere.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Travel Expectations
Travel will be required approximately 75% of the time, including overnight stays.
Compensation Data
Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 annually, plus eligibility for bonuses.
