What part will you play?

At Siemens eMobility customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we're looking for a Software Release Train Manager who will be responsible for managing the SW feature release pipeline for all our current and future product lines in eMobility. This covers Charger Software, IOT and Cloud SW services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and release processes, project management skills and is familiar with agile software development methods and processes. The role is a global role, so you will work with software developers and system test for different charging products around the globe.
Create and standardize the global software release process based on an agile development approach
Manage the feature release pipeline for our product lines and cloud services
Establish close collaboration with HW product development projects and global System test organisation
Working with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
What you need to make real what matters.
The basis of your success is a master's degree in Computer Science
You have long-term experience in software product development processes and state of the art agile development methods
You have at least 3 years' experience in customizing Jira, Confluence and Polarion would be a plus
You know how Gitlab works and how it can be interfaced with Jira
You have at least 2 years' experience in Python and C++
You are familiar with concepts of continuous deployment and continuous integration
You have the ability to create something new and extraordinary
You can build long-term relationships with internal colleagues and external providers. Enjoys working in an international and multi-functional team collaboratively across different software teams
You have very good English knowledge. German is a plus.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills to present and discuss technical strategies and your own ideas
