What You'll Do
  • Provide clinical nutrition oversight, guidance, and support to Dietary Managers and center-level dietitians across assigned locations
  • Ensure nutrition care plans are developed, implemented, and updated in accordance with resident needs and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct routine audits of dietary operations to ensure compliance with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations
  • Review menus, recipes, and meal service practices to promote nutritional adequacy, resident satisfaction, and cost efficiency
  • Serve as a consultant to center leadership and interdisciplinary teams on dietary concerns, special diets, and nutrition management
  • Support survey readiness, attend entrance and exit conferences as needed, and assist with dietary plans of correction
  • Provide education, training, and ongoing support to dietary teams on nutrition standards, documentation, and regulatory updates
  • Monitor quality assurance indicators and assist in developing performance improvement plans for dietary services
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership to support weight management, hydration, and overall nutritional outcomes
  • Stay current on industry standards, dietary guidelines, and best practices in long-term care nutrition
  • Support new center openings, acquisitions, or transitions by assessing dietary operations and assisting with onboarding
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Vice President of Clinical Services or Regional Leadership
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Licensed Dietitian in applicable states, or ability to obtain licensure as required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in long-term care or healthcare nutrition services
  • At least one (1) year of multi-site or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and dietary compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
