Sports Turf & Grounds Staff Apprentice

Stevenage Football Club is seeking to recruit a Sports Turf & Grounds Staff Apprentice to join the team.

Successful candidates will be provided with the opportunity to obtain a Level 2 Sports Turf Operative Apprenticeship and City & Guilds Level 2 Horticulture Sports Turf Groundsmanship Diploma, whilst gaining experience in the following practical areas:

• Preparing & maintaining training pitches/areas
• Preparing & maintaining match pitches
• Maintaining site surrounds across all sites
• Assisting with the maintenance of equipment
• Adhering to health and safety protocols

Based across all Stevenage Football Club venues including the stadium, first team training ground and academy. All sites are located within one mile of The Lamex Stadium, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, Herts, SG2 8RH.

40 hours per week including all home fixtures – Year 1: Apprentice National

Minimum Wage / Year 2: National Minimum Wage
