Staff Accountant

Growing, manufacturer seeks a motivated, tech savvy, Staff Accountant with proven cost accounting experience. The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of managing the month end close process, providing inventory analysis, preparing financial reports, account reconciliation budgeting & forecasting, audit preparation, posting check deposits and following internal control systems and assessing risk. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.

Everyday Responsibilities
Support daily accounting functions
Month End/Year End Close
Prepare monthly financial statements
Maintain general ledger
Fixed Assets
Monitor aging reports
Assist with the annual audit process
Process sales & use taxes
Resolve accounting discrepancies
Ad hoc financial analysis projects as requested

The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:
2+ years of public accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Strong Excel
MS Dynamics a plus
Manufacturing industry preferred
