Description

Responsibilities:

---Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks and street sweeper equipment, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and in optimal working condition.

---Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and recommend necessary repairs.

---Preventive Maintenance: Implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our vehicles and equipment.

---Parts Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and order necessary supplies to ensure timely repairs.

---Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and hours worked.

---Software and Mobile Applications: Comfortably use relevant software tools and mobile applications for tasks such as inventory management, record keeping, and communication.

---Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the safety of yourself and others in the workshop.

Qualifications:

---Mechanical Experience: Proven experience as a mechanic, with expertise in servicing heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Experience with diesel engines and Tymco sweepers is a plus.

---Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications or licenses is preferred, but not required.

---Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities to identify and address mechanical issues efficiently.

---Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to perform accurate inspections and repairs.

---Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, including operators and supervisors.

---Safety Conscious: A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Job Details:

---Part-Time: Approximately 20-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.

---Pay: Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience.

---Location: Work primarily at our North Phoenix vehicle yard.
