$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available with distance-based relocation

Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized surgical environment, utilizing aseptic techniques during preparation for surgical procedures.
- Assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of diverse techniques and functions.
- Set up the operating room efficiently, handling equipment and supplies while ensuring disinfection protocols.
- Function as a Second Assistant when necessary and support other team members effectively.
- Communicate supply and equipment needs to appropriate staff, and ensure specialty carts are well-maintained.
- Transport patients and manage their positioning, adhering to safety protocols.
- Adapt care and communication according to the age and needs of diverse patient populations.
Licensure, Registration, and Certification Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association must be obtained within 6 months unless otherwise determined.
Education/Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- No prior experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and equipment used in surgery.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting and moving various weights safely.
- Expose to hazards such as mechanical, electrical, and biohazard risks; must wear personal protective equipment.
- Must meet physical demands including standing, walking, squatting, and lifting as necessary.
