HOW A SYSTEMS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The customer is seeking an experienced Tech Lead of Operations to lead our engineering team to optimize, implement, and maintain our organization's cloud-based systems. Responsibilities include deploying and debugging systems, as well as executing new cloud initiatives. Successful candidate will have extensive experience engineering efficient continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and developing strategic plans to introduce or improve cloud best practices. Candidate will work with different IT professionals and development teams to ensure our cloud computing systems meet the needs of our organization and customers in the most cost effective manner possible.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Required Experience: 20+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills:

- Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the team.
- Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate team members.
- Experience with DevOps best practice and promoting the DevOps culture.
- Expertise with AWS cloud-based infrastructure.
- Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and administrative reporting.
- May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
- Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
- Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
- Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
- Coordinates and assists with timely implementation of all SDLC activities.
- Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Effective communicator able to prioritize and account for project tasks

The likely salary range for this position is $176,446 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
